My name is Heather Mitchell. I am originally from a small town in Pennsylvania called Lititz. I am a rising senior at Juniata College, studying Secondary Education and Mathematics. Outside of school, I love to listen to music, dance, watch movies, and read books.

This summer I will be working at Breakthrough Pittsburgh. It will be my second year with this program and I am so excited to be back! Breakthrough Collaborative is a non-profit organization with several locations around the United States. This organization helps students from marginalized backgrounds get into college and pursue higher education.

This summer I was lucky enough to receive the Super Internship Fund from Juniata College. This blog will highlight some of the exciting things that happen this summer. I'm so excited for you to follow this journey with me!
